Quick Reference: Who Can Help Me? (coming soon)

Heather has been a North Penn Service Unit member since 2009. She has held positions of Placement, Recruitment, Trips, and currently Registrar and Recruitment. In addition to serving the North Penn Area Service Unit she has run a troop for the past 12 years. Her daughter and girls she started the troop with have graduated in 2018 and 2019. Heather plans on continuing as a leader with the remaining girls in the Senior and Ambassador troop and serving on the North Penn Girl Scout Service Unit Team.

In the summer, Heather can be found at Camp Garrison helping to run the volunteer based Girl Scout camp, Holly Pines Day Camp. She assists with monthly trainings for the unit leaders and program aids throughout the year as well as is on site the two weeks in July. She is excited to be a part of the camp her grandmother was instrumental in starting in 1967 and continuing on the Girl Scout tradition. Heather has received The Four Chaplains award in 2013 and the Go Getter award in 2019 from Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania.

Born and Raised in Lansdale, Heather was a Girl Scout herself in elementary and middle school. Then after studying overseas and completing her BS in Early Childhood and Special Education at West Chester University, she returned to Lansdale to raise her family. Heather has been with her husband for 29 years and has two children. When she’s not subbing in the North Penn School District or doing something with Girl Scouts, she is at a local ice hockey rink watching her son play for North Penn and local clubs.
