Dessie has been a Girl Scout volunteer since 2012 when her oldest daughter joined Girl Scouts as a Junior. Since then, she has filled multiple volunteer roles, but enjoys leading her younger daughter's troop the most. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves camping. Since 2016, she has served the Service Unit Team as the Assistant SUM and is the go-to person for all things "Compliance."
Born in Greece, Dessie is married to the owner of a local comic book store and is active in the North Penn area. She volunteers at her daughters' schools and does her best to never miss an activity. Although Dessie never scouted as a girl, she feels that her need to always be prepared and her love of the outdoors makes her an honorary one.
